The 2012 Jaguar XKR-S is indeed the fastest production Jaguar ever, and incredibly enough, it accomplished this without losing any “Jag-ness” along the way.

The XKR-S represents the pinnacle for the brand. Jaguar’s goal of building a gentleman’s race car that you could drive to the racetrack, have some fun in, then go out and have a casual drive around town, has been successful.

The 2012 Jaguar XKR-S makes great power with its supercharged V-8 engine and backs it up with fantastic, grippy handling. Slinky styling and a throaty exhaust make this Jaguar nearly as nice to watch from the outside as it is to drive.
